77 and learning

Expected to race around my house and howl at the moon, but….. first I’m 77, can’t sleep and over a couple of years have been using 25mg of delta 8 as well as ambien and Benadryl.
The taste of delta 8 is nasty and I was looking mainly for taste.
However I realized on receipt it also contains delta9, or THC.
I’ve never smoked a joint so after a couple of weeks I cut one in quarters and took one quarter midafternoon.
My knee (waiting on replacement) feels better and the lower back which has 4 hairline fractures.
Course I freaked when i tested positive for marijuana, but have gotten over it.
The fireball actually tastes good and it does make me feel medicated but still better than pain pills and supposedly easier on my ckd#3 kidneys.
So far, so good. And it’s Kentucky so medically it’s legal.
